“Susan was able to keep the sessions fluid and our daughter’s attention keen to participate. Susan was always upbeat, which resulted in a positive response in our daughter’s attitude toward her own reading potential and progress.”

Warm, assuring, positive manner that keeps kids engaged and encouraged

Best-practice strategies for working with learning disability challenges

    Certification in Orton-Gillingham multi-sensory approach to reading/writing

Preferred reading tutor by academic leaders like the Breck school and Groves Academy

  • About Orton-Gillingham

    Leading-Edge Intervention Strategies

Developed by the Institute for Multi-Sensory Education (IMSE), the Orton-Gillingham Approach equips educators with strategies for every tier of the Response to Intervention model, enabling at-risk students to develop into successful readers, writers, and spellers. Orton-Gillingham is astoundingly powerful when used for reading remediation because it capitalizes on an individual’s strongest learning modality to strengthen the learning pathways. This multi-sensory approach incorporates the five critical elements of an effective reading program: phonemic awareness, phonics, vocabulary development, fluency, and comprehension strategies.
